Northern skies has training for helicopter pilots utilizing our FAA 141 and VA approved helicopter pilot training school. Helicopter flight training at the Laurel, MT airport is conducted in Schweizer Helicopters. Already an airplane pilot-get helicopter flight training to add the helicopter pilot ratings to your license. Helicopter instrument training utilizes the GPS approaches and VOR Approaches to Laurel MT Airport as well as DME Arcs and ILS approaches, with traffic radar for the helicopter pilot at the Billings, MT airport just minutes away.
